ABOUT

Commercial bookbinding is a small custom book bindery shop located in Toronto Ontario Canada.

Commercial bookbinding was established in 1975 by the late Jerry Timmins.

In 1988, James Watkins took over ownership after serving his apprenticeship at Brown Brothers, a large loose-leaf bindery in the Toronto area; it was there that James learned the craft of bookbinding. Brown Brothers were second-to-none in the trade of specialty work.

We at commercial bookbinding have carried on that tradition giving customers true value for their money. Nearly 90% of all books are hand bound, insuring a lasting quality; made from the finest materials available to the trade.

We provide thesis binding to all major universities, textbook re-binding, law journals, custom binders, record books, magazines bound, foil stamping, and all other binding projects.

Commercial bookbinding serves libraries, all major universities and law firms, motion pictures, and the general public.

Dedications to quality and customer service have been the keystones to our business philosophy from our earliest days. Because we believe that each and every production task is critically important to the finished product, we work with the utmost attention to detail. From the receipt of your quote request, to the shipment of your completed order, commercial bookbinding will make a hard task seem simple if it's one book, or 500 books.
